DURABASE WS - the self-adhesive sealing system
The Warpseal self-adhesive waterproofing system conforms to standards and is ETA-approved. It has an extremely strong adhesive force of more than 20 t/m², which becomes active after just seconds. With the self-adhesive waterproofing system you can work on a wide variety of materials such as wood, concrete, screed, plaster, plastics, stainless steel, glass, enamel and cementitious building materials. All parts of the waterproofing are flexible and expandable, optimally adapting to the smallest unevenness and providing a perfect seal. Thanks to the self-adhesive system, you can eliminate the use of glue, which saves you time and effort. Waterproofing without dust and dirt is possible, as there is no mixing dirt and clean working phases are guaranteed. Conventional waterproofing with tile adhesive requires the use of about 3.2 kg of adhesive and 0.5 to 1 liter of water per square meter of waterproofing - the self-adhesive waterproofing system does not require these materials. Durabase Warpseal is easy and clean to apply and does not require water, making it ideal for installation over gypsum and mineral plasters. Also, no extra cement plaster is needed in the bathroom area.
An extra-wide waterproofing membrane of 1.0 m forms the basis of the waterproofing system, which is simple and easy to install using a special squeegee. You do not have to wait for drying, as is the case with liquid waterproofing, which requires 2 passes with a waiting time of about 4 hours in between and a curing time. In addition to the sealing tape, the waterproofing system also offers the appropriate accessories. Necessary elements for corners, tubs and shower wedges - self-adhesive and siliconized cover papers facilitate handling. Tiles and other wall- and floor coverings can be applied immediately.

Installation
- Prepare substrate and remove dust
- Coat the area to be sealed with Spray Primer WS spray
- Attach the shaped parts (corners, sleeves)
- Attach the Sealing Tape WS with trowel protection in transition and corner areas
- Sealing mat WS lay in such a way that it overlaps with the dark yellow areas of the shaped parts
- Cover the dark edge strip of sealing mat with the self-adhesive Fleece strip WS finish
